Abel 383 ( of Abell 383 ) is located Eridanus , the revenue Abell Catalog of galaxies, about 23 million light-years away from Earth [2] [3] [4] [5] .
In 2011, this cluster of galaxies served as a galaxy cluster of gravity lenses , allowing astronomers to observe the galaxies formed only about 200 million years after the birth of the universe.
In 2012, two groups of astronomers used the Chandra X-ray Observatory and other telescope observation data to establish the distribution of dark matter around Abel 383. The dark matter distribution in the figure resembles that of a rugby player, with two of the tip lines pointing closer to the direction of the line of sight of the earth observer.
