Manta rays (scientific name: Manta birostris ), also known as dual-mouth kiss before manta rays , the common name fly bream Aberdeen , Eagle bream for Chondrichthyes myliobatiformes Rays a Zhong . Classified by the IUCN as a secondary conservation animal.

Distribution [ edit ]
The fish are distributed in the oceans and subtropical seas.
Depth [ edit ]
The water depth is 0 to 200 meters.
Features [ edit ]
The fish body is flat, the body plate is wide, and the tongue fin protrudes from the front of the eye. It can swing freely and can be turned into a tube from the bottom outward. The eyeball is large, the teeth are small and granular. The cleft palate is very wide, with a pale grayish black on the back and pale white on the ventral surface. Thin and short tail without thorns. The wingspan can reach 9 meters and weigh 3 tons.
Ecology [ edit ]
The fish is a large-scale fish in the middle and upper oceans. It has a mild temperament and is carnivorous, mainly feeding on zooplankton and small fish . Occasionally spring and autumn will jump out of the water surface, eggs will be born, and only one juvenile will be produced at a time.
Economic use [ edit ]
Ornamental fish species, because the meat is not delicious, has no food value. [1] However, because there are lawbreakers in the Guangzhou market in China who claim that the sputum of the manta ray has medical value and can treat cancer, infertility, etc., it has been massacred by humans, especially in Indonesia and other places, and then smuggled into China. However, there is absolutely no evidence that ghost bats have medicinal properties. [2] [3]
