Lubin ( Polish : Lubin , German: Lübin ) is a town in Poland , located in the southwest of the country, about 71 kilometers from Le Slav , under the jurisdiction of the Lower Silesia Province . It was founded in the 12th century and covers an area of 40.77 square kilometers. With an altitude of 72 meters, the population was 76,595 in 2006.
