Ho Tung Road ( English: Ho Tung Road ) is a Hong Kong Kowloon Kowloon Tsai south street, south of Boundary Street , north of Oxford Road to the old Hong Kong billionaire Ho Tung Sir named.
In the early stages of the development of the housing-type residential area, in 1925, when the project met the provincial and Hong Kong strikes and the developer died, they faced the liquidation crisis. Some owners and shareholders requested He Dong to assist and He Dongxian organized the “Kowloon Tong Garden Club”, and then continued the unfinished project. The villas were completed in 1929. Thanks to He Dong for his contribution, he chose a street named “He Dongdao ” [1] and [2] in the streets originally named after the British county .
Interestingly, Ho Tung's "Ho Tung" is not the name of Ho Tung himself; because the name of Sir Robert Ho Dong is Robert and his surname is Hotung. The interpreter is not sure why the East is Ho Tung, and the Government and Sir Ho Tung Future generations have no opinion on street names.
