Ryan Stephen Lake Ti ( English: Ryan Steven Lochte , / L ɒ k t i / , lock -tee ; 1984 Nian 8 Yue 3 Ri - ), USA Swimming male athletes. He competed in the world and made the Olympics perform well. For example, in the 2004 Olympics in Athens, he won the gold medal in the 4×200 meter freestyle relay and won the silver medal in the 200-meter medley project. Lac is raised in Rochester, New York, United States . He studied in Florida and completed college at the University of Florida .

In the 2006 National University Swimming Championships held in Atlanta , Lakti won a personal triathlon and broke the world record of 200 meters medley and 200 meters of backstroke in the United States, and almost broke the 400 meters medley. American record. In the 4x100 meter quadruple relay, Lakti broke the 100-meter back-bath record, which is the first time that the American backstroke record was faster than the butterfly stroke record [1] .

Lakti was behind the swim talented Michael Phelps in the US Olympic trial of the 200-meter medley at the 2004 Athens Olympics and was selected for the 4x200-meter US relay team. In the Olympics, and Phelps Lake Ti, Colette Keller , Peter Vanderkaay resisting the Australian team to commit forces, successfully took off the gold medal. The 200-meter medley also fell behind Phelps again and won only a silver medal. In the 2004 World Short Pool Swimming Championships held in Indianapolis later , Lakti won a silver medal in the 200-meter medley and a 200-meter freestyle bronze medal. In the 2005 Montreal World Swimming Championships , he also won a bronze medal in 200m backstroke [2] and medley, and was once again the United States 4x200 meter freestyle champion.
In the 2007 World Swimming Championships in Melbourne , he won the gold medal for the first time in the game of Changchi, defeating old rival Aaron Perseo in a 200m back-sweeping game , which was also the first in Lakti. Personal world record [3] .
2008 Beijing Olympic Games , although the two medley race are second only to Phelps and Hungarian player Laszlo Saihe , had the bronze medal [4] [5] . However, Lakti did a good job in backstroke. In the 200-meter back-swim final, he defeated Aaron Perseo with a record of breaking the world record and won the gold medal in his first individual match [6] .
In the 2009 Rome World Swimming Championships , he won two gold medals in bronze medals, 200 meters and 400 meters of personal medleys in 200 meters of backstroke. The 200 meters medley broke the world record with 1 minute, 54 seconds and 10 times. In the 4x100m freestyle relay, he once again assisted the United States in winning the gold medal while breaking the record of the conference. In the subsequent 4x200m freestyle relay, he once again assisted the United States in winning the gold medal while refreshing the world record to 6:58.55.
Controversy [ edit ]
Lakti and three other U.S. swimmers claimed during the 2016 Olympic Games that local gas stations had been robbed by gunners. Lakti said that things were happening at gas stations and gas station security guards were holding guns at them. Later, Lakti was found to have destroyed the gas station equipment after drunkenness, and urinated at the gas station. The guards withdrew the gun and stopped before promising to pay compensation. Many of the original scenarios were inconsistent with the facts [7] [8] [9] .
On September 8, 2016, Ryan Lakti was banned for 10 months, lost Olympic prize money and funded by the American Swimming Association, and was not allowed to participate in the recognition ceremony and 10 hours of community service at the same time. The remaining three teammates were suspended for four months. [10]
