Glen Stewart Godwin ( Glen Stewart Godwin , 1958 Nian 6 Yue 26 Ri - ) is the US Federal Bureau of Investigation 's top ten most wanted one. He was sentenced to 26 years’ imprisonment for murder and was wanted after being jailed .

Murder case [ edit ]
On August 3, 1980, the resident of Eagle Mountain , California , discovered a body in a light truck that had been abandoned in the desert and was destroyed . The murderer wanted to destroy the evidence and the body with an explosion . [1] The deceased was a drug dealer. The cause of death was a sharp weapon. His body was cut nearly 36 knives. Godwin immediately charged with first-degree murder, he and his roommate little Frank Soto (Frank Soto, Jr) plans to rob the victims [2] [3] . Godwin did not have any criminal record in the Palm Springs where he lived. He was a salesman, a construction worker, and a mechanic. They will introduce the victim to his apartment the two men lived impose fist, the last two were hacked to death with a knife [1] [4] . Then they loaded the bodies onto a truck abandoned in the desert, and an attempt to destroy evidence with a bomb. The police accused them of first-degree murder. Godwin was sentenced to 26 years of imprisonment in 1982, and Soto was 25 years [4] [5] [6] .
Prison Break [ edit ]
Godwin was transferred to the Folsom Prison in California in 1987 for his attempt to escape from prison . The prison is well known for his protection. However, with the help of his wife, Shelly Godwin, and the former prisoner Lorenz Karlic, Godwin succeeded in jailbreaking from Forsson . [5] Shirley and Carlic secretly sent hacksaws and other instruments to Folsom’s prison, allowing Godwin to cut through the barbed wire and escape into the sewers . After Godwin escaped and escaped to Mexico , he tried to engage in the sale of cocaine but failed. Later, he was arrested by Mexican police in Guadalajara on suspicion of smuggling drugs in Puerto Vallartaand sentenced to seven years and six months of imprisonment at Puente Grand Prison . The prosecution delayed the extradition procedure for the United States and also secured enough time for Godwin's second escape. Wired reported that Godwin had appeared in California in 1997 and tried to hide his whereabouts. Because the FBI listed him among the Top Ten Most Wanted on December 7, 1996. The FBI believes he is using an alias for a drug trade somewhere in Latin America [6] . Because of his high-risk and possible possession of weapons, the FBI also issued a $ 100,000 bounty for him, to those who provide useful clues line of people [5] .
