Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Medellín ( Latin : Archidioecesis Medellensis , Spanish: Archidiócesis de Medellín ), is Colombia a Roman Catholic ecclesiastical provinces in the archdiocese , located in the second largest city Medellin . Founded on February 14, 1868, February 24, 1902 was promoted to the Archdiocese.
The archdiocese includes seven cities in Antioquia and has four parishes. In 2004 there were 2,625,494 members (87.1% of the total population of the jurisdiction), 301 parishes, and 909 priests. The current Archbishop is Riccardo Antonio Leister .
