Nectanebo I ( English: Nectanebo the I ) of ancient Egypt thirtieth dynasty 's first Pharaoh (380 BC - 362 BC, reigned), succeeded in fighting back the Persians in 373 BC and ruled Egypt again attempt. When he landed on the throne, he faced Persian invasion. The Persian 220,000 troops marched toward Egypt. The Egyptians initially suffered setbacks, but because of Persia ’s indecisiveness of Falcabazos , the Egyptians were able to rally the army and surrounded the invaders from the side near the Mendes in the Delta , forcing the enemy to withdraw. During his time in office, he was able to carry out a large project and his art was extremely prosperous. [2]
