Guantaiqiao Bridge is located at the mouth of the Tangjiaxiang Lane in the south of Jiangyan Road , Ganjiang Road , Gusu District , Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, China . It spans the fourth straight river of Pingjiang River and was listed as a Suzhou cultural relics protection unit in 1998 .
The official Taiyi Bridge was built without examination. In the thirty-five year of Qing Emperor Kangxi (1696), it was rebuilt in the four years of Guangxu (1878). The beam bridge built for Wukang Stone and single hole granite is 15.6 meters long, 2.5 meters wide, and 3 meters across, and each slope is 11 steps. [1]
